Terms of service

Scentible: scents at sensible prices.

Effective: October 27, 2026

These terms cover your use of Scentible, made by Hayi LLC, a New York company ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected]. By using Scentible you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Scentible is meant for people in the United States and for people aged 13 or older.

What Scentible is

Scentible tracks fragrance prices, flags deals, and helps you keep a collection and decant list. It is free. Links to sellers are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes how deals are ranked: deals are ranked on price only. The app shows "We may earn a commission." next to Buy buttons.

Your license to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Scentible on Apple devices you own or control, as the Apple Media Services Terms allow. You may not copy, sell, rent or sublicense the app, reverse engineer it or extract its source code (except where the law allows), or use it to build a competing service. We and our licensors keep all rights in Scentible, its catalog and its design.

We point you to deals; we don't sell or inspect products

Scentible is a guide that points you in the right direction. We don't sell fragrance, handle your order or payment, or see the products. We take care in choosing the retailers we list, using things like consumer reviews and return policies, but we can't guarantee any retailer or any product.

Prices, deals and alerts

Prices come from sellers and can change or be wrong by the time you buy. A "deal" means a price low compared with prices we have seen ourselves; it isn't a promise that it is the lowest price anywhere, or that the item is in stock. Alerts, including push notifications you choose to allow, are information, not advice. Check the price and seller on the seller's own page before you pay. Your purchase is a deal between you and the seller, and returns, refunds and shipping are the seller's responsibility.

Maps and shops

Shop details, ratings, hours, photos and directions in Atlas come from our maps provider and other sources and can be out of date. Check before you travel. Maps and place information are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your account and content

You sign in with your phone's built-in sign-in service. Keep your device secure. You can delete your account in Settings > Account. What you add (your collection, ratings, notes, photos) stays private to your account. You keep ownership of it and give us permission only to store it and show it back to you in the app. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without owing you anything. Don't misuse the service: no scraping it, overloading it, or probing it for weaknesses. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or harms the service. You can stop using Scentible at any time by deleting your account; we may end or change the service, and we will give notice where we reasonably can.

Brands, images and takedowns

Brand names, logos and product images belong to their owners and appear only to help you identify products. If you own rights in something in Scentible and believe it shouldn't be here, email [email protected] with: what it is and where it appears, that you own or represent the owner of the rights, that you believe in good faith that its use isn't authorized, and your name and contact details. If you are sending a copyright notice, also include your signature (typed is fine) and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner. We will promptly review it and remove or replace it when the claim is valid, and we may tell the person who supplied the material. If you believe material was removed by mistake, email us the same details and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in New York County, New York, and we will review it. We may close accounts of repeat infringers.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Scentible or for support, maintenance or claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you once you accept them. If Scentible fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price (the app is free, so there is none); Apple has no other warranty duty for it. We, not Apple, answer any claims about Scentible, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection claims, and any claim that it infringes someone's intellectual property; we, not Apple, will investigate, defend and settle those. You confirm that you are not in a country under a US government embargo or on a US list of prohibited parties. You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use Scentible, such as your wireless provider's. Questions, complaints or claims: Hayi LLC, New York, NY, [email protected].

No warranty, limited liability

SCENTIBLE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, Hayi LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about Scentible is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any rights you have under consumer-protection law where you live.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please email us first at [email protected] so we can try to fix the problem. If we can't, any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we both agree to those courts. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver in these terms.

Changes and the rest

We may update these terms; we will change the date above and tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use Scentible after that means you accept the update. If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given it up. You can't transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours with the service. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Scentible.
